This weekend, enjoy science experiments and hands-on activities as you walk in the footsteps of great Canadians at the Canada Science and Technology Museum. Stay for the afternoon to hear traditional legends in the Museum’s inflatable planetarium and listen to Canadian folk music.
Highlights:
- Citizenship Ceremony: New Canadians take the Oath of Citizenship in this special ceremony. At this time, Canadian citizens may also reaffirm their pledge to their country. Friday, July 3 only. 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
- Walk in Great Canadians’ Footsteps: Walk in some of the greatest Canadians’ footsteps. Connect with the telephone, get smart about snowmobiles, and experiment with an innovative antenna
- Music to Your Ears: The Wandering Minstrels will fill the Museum with entrancing music during this celebration of Canada. 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Planetarium Presentations: Explore the wonders of the night sky – without waiting until dark – in the Museum’s inflatable Starlab Planetarium. 1 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
