This March Break, it's all about increasing your brainpower through challenges, riddles and puzzles! Participate in fun, hands-on activities that use giant-sized games, science experiments, electric circuits, Rubik's cubes, and much more. Try your hand at origami, or meet engineers and youth from your community and be inspired by how they make things work. Don't miss this unique opportunity to discover how much of a genius you are!

Game Room
Daily
10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Come and exercise your brain with our selection of puzzles and games—from small ones to giant ones. Challenge your family and friends to contests of speed and skill, and have your name added to our Puzzle Masters board. Fun for everyone!
Balloon Modelling Workshop
March 3, 10, 11 and 17
1 p.m.
It takes imagination, a bit of talent and mostly practice to create shapes out of balloons. Marvel at artistic balloon creations and learn how to make one yourself.
Challenge of the Day
March 3-4, 10-11 and 17-18
11 a.m., 2:30 p.m.
Can you fill a bag with just one blow? Can you make an egg fall into a bottle without touching it? Take the challenge of the day and let science provide the answer.
Storytelling: Zero
Daily
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Join our storyteller for this incredible story in which the number Zero learns that he too has value.
Brain Quest
Find the answers to our brainteaser questions located all around the Museum, from riddles to pictogram puzzles to scrambled words. Solve the puzzles and fill in your answer ballot for a chance to win a $35 gift certificate for the Museum's Scientique boutique.

Take a few minutes to watch these hilarious one-minute-ish capsules about intriguing science and technology facts.
Incredible Structures
March 10
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Build tall towers and strong bridges using Kapla® blocks. Participation prizes will be awarded throughout the day. This activity is presented in partnership with the Professional Engineers of Ontario, Ottawa Chapter.
The Folding Problem—origami workshop
March 11 to 18
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Join our origami master and learn how to fold paper into impressive shapes.
Rubik's Cube Challenge
March 14 to 16
9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Solving a Rubik's Cube is not easy. Can you imagine doing it quickly, or blindfolded? Join youth from the Club de Cube de L'Escale who do just that, and learn some of their tricks. Fun for all ages.
Franklin's Class Trip

Join us for this amazing story, read by Franklin the Turtle creator and author Paulette Bourgeois. Find out what happens when Franklin and his friends visit a museum.
